Notice about the Same-day and Express Application Service

As instructed by the Chinese Embassy in the U.K, from November the 1st 2008, the Same Day service shall no longer be available at the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre (CVASC).The Collection date for the express service will be three working days from submission of applications (e.g. customers applying on Monday will pick up their visas on Wednesday), instead of two working days. Applicants requesting the express service must lodge visa applications at the CVASC counter before 12:00 noon Monday to Friday. It is not necessary to provide an air-ticket to fly to Mainland China within 3 working days. 

Visa applicants are kindly advised to make proper plans for travel to China and obtain appropriate visas in advance.
